We’re All Together and Avoiding Two Year Residency
November 21, 2008
Volume 6, Number 36
Dear Friends,
Here in the United States, the Chief Executive Officers of “The Big Three” automotive companies, General Motors, Chrysler and Ford, are asking for government support – they need loans to stay in business, they say. Meanwhile in Varginha, in the state of Minas Gerais, 5 hours drive north of Sao Paulo, where the quiet countryside hosts cows and coffee trees beneath a calm blue sky, three hundred people lost their jobs. The local US auto plant had layoffs because of the slow car sales in the US. Although your country and mine may be different, your economy and mine may be the same – it is the world economy now.
Visa Information: From One J to Another
J visa holders can sometimes be subjected to the 2 year residency rule which requires them to return to their country for two years after a J program in the United States. But, if the J visa holder is going to be coming back to the US for a separate J program it may not be necessary for them to stay at home for those two years. For questions give us a call or speak with your immigration professional.
We just got requests for people to fill 40 positions for this coming Spring at one of America’s best water parks in the “Great Midwest.”
Hope you can experience our international togetherness this week
